Staying at Tegfan Garden Suite was a real treat! The cottage had a tastefully designed interior and a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking enjoyable. Helen and John were fantastic hosts. They provided us with a thoughtful itinerary for our stay, including excellent restaurant recommendations that took all the pressure off planning. I especially appreciated the local Welsh products, particularly the delicious jams and breakfast items crafted by Helen. One evening, we enjoyed grilling lamb chops from a local butcher and used the fire pit for stargazing, which was the highlight of our trip. I found the remote location a bit challenging for reaching nearby attractions quickly. It required some extra driving time. Despite that, I can't imagine a better place to relax and explore the Brecon Beacons area.

tastefully designed cottage, outfitted kitchen, fire pit for stargazing
The remote location made getting to nearby attractions a bit of a hassle!!! the limited outdoor space might feel cramped if shared with other guests. Seriously, some more outdoor privacy would be appreciated next time!!!

The cottage offered a lovely mix of style and comfort, complemented by breathtaking views of the Black Mountains. Helen's warm welcome and the thoughtful provisions made our mornings special. Stargazing beside the fire pit was magical, although the location could be isolated for some.

Couples Night Getaway
My wife and I had an unforgettable experience with our hosts giving us personalized activity plans that were spot on. Late nights by the fire pit, grilling lamb chops under a starry sky – it made every minute worthwhile.
It was a bit pricey but, you know, quality comes at a cost.

I absolutely loved the elegantly designed One-Bedroom House, especially the beautifully outfitted kitchen that made eating in a joy. The local Welsh products, including delicious jams and breakfast goodies made by Helen, were such a delightful treat. Stargazing by the cozy fire pit under a clear sky was the perfect end to our days.
